Join the Oconee Outfitters team for a two night, three day paddling adventure from the Central State boat ramp to Balls Ferry State Park, near Toomsboro. This roughly 38 mile stretch of river provides ample opportunity for wildlife sightings on the beautiful Oconee River(think Jurassic Park without the dinosaurs!)

It's a birder's paradise out there y'all with a chorus of songs from red-eyed and white-eyed vireos, summer tanagers, Mississippi kites, barred owls, bald eagles, little blue herons, black-crowned night herons, spotted sandpipers,

Eastern kingbirds, yellow-throated warblers, tufted titmice just to name a few

Our guides prepare delicious dinners, breakfast and dessert and picnic style lunches for the group, while providing camping and paddle guidance, so take it easy and enjoy the peace that the river brings as we float on 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕝𝕠𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕤𝕥 𝕤𝕥𝕣𝕖𝕥𝕔𝕙 𝕠𝕗 𝕦𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕣𝕦𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕕 𝕣𝕚𝕧𝕖𝕣 𝕚𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕥𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝔾𝕖𝕠𝕣𝕘𝕚𝕒. Tour price includes shuttle from the take-out back to the put-in, meals, snacks, guides, and fun! Boat rentals and camping gear are available for an additional fee.
Participants who are not renting equipment must provide their own shelter and sleeping gear (tents, sleeping bags/pads, pillows, etc.) as well as personal sundries. A suggested packing list will be provided prior to the trip.
