Help protect one of Milledgeville’s favorite outdoor spaces during the Oconee River Clean-Up Float and Contest! Participants will team up to collect litter while floating from the Oconee River Greenway boat ramp to the Central State boat ramp. Ocmulgee Outdoors will provide kayaks for the cleanup.

The event begins at 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 6. Prizes will be awarded for the most unusual trash item, the heaviest trash haul, and the best wildlife photo. Gather your friends, enjoy an afternoon on the water, and make a meaningful difference by helping keep the Oconee River beautiful for everyone.
