Bobcat Explorers Summer Camp at Georgia College & State University
Bobcat Explorers Soccer Camp invites kids to build skills, confidence, and teamwork in a fun, active environment. Campers will learn dribbling, passing, shooting, and game-play basics through engaging drills and friendly scrimmages. Designed for all experience levels, this camp encourages players to stay active, make friends, and discover the joy of soccer.
As part of the Bobcat Explorers program, children have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in a specific area of interest while building skills through expert instruction on the Georgia College campus. Each week also includes engaging recreational activities, refreshing pool time, and creative arts and crafts—creating a balanced camp experience that blends meaningful skill development with classic summer fun and lasting memories.

Backyard Critters Week at Bobcat Explorers Summer Camp invites young nature lovers to explore the fascinating world of insects, animals, and outdoor ecosystems on the Georgia College & State University campus in Milledgeville, Georgia, near Lake Sinclair. This hands-on nature and science summer camp for kids encourages curiosity, observation, and environmental awareness through engaging outdoor activities.
Throughout the week, campers discover the tiny creatures and wildlife that share our environment. Through interactive exploration and guided learning, children gain a deeper understanding of how different animals and insects contribute to healthy ecosystems.

Daily Recreation & Swimming
In addition to expert-led programming, campers also enjoy daily recreation and swim time in the outdoor campus pool (weather permitting).
Certified lifeguards supervise all swim sessions to ensure camper safety.

Campers must pass a swim test to swim without a life jacket
Life jackets are required for campers who do not pass the swim test

Included in this workshop are scripts for each participant to keep, designed costumes, playwrights, and the opportunity to perform on one of GCSU’s theatrical stages.

This three-day camp is designed for kids ages 7-12 who want to learn the secrets of magic. Mark, a magician with over 30 years of experience, will teach sleight of hand, card tricks, and other fun illusions in an engaging, hands-on setting.

Finale: On Thursday at 11:30 AM, campers will showcase their new skills in a mini magic show for family and friends.

Outdoor Adventure Camp (Rising 6th-8th Grade) // Georgia College and State University
Get ready for an unforgettable outdoor experience at Outdoor Adventure Camp! Designed for rising 6th through rising 8th graders, this action-packed camp is all about adventure, teamwork, and fun. Campers will challenge themselves through a variety of exciting activities, including:
Team Building Activities
Work together, solve challenges, and build friendships through engaging group games and problem-solving exercises.
Low Challenge Course
Navigate obstacles that encourage communication, trust, and collaboration.
Tango Tower Climb & High Challenge Course
Push your limits and conquer new heights as you climb our thrilling towers and courses, building confidence with every step.
Canoeing & Water Games
Explore the lake, paddle with friends, and enjoy fun-filled canoe challenges that test your skills and teamwork on the water.
From climbing to paddling, this camp is designed to inspire adventure, foster confidence, and create lasting memories. Join us for a summer of excitement, exploration, and outdoor fun!
Cost: $215
Please note that TWO waivers will need to be completed to attend this camp. The Outdoor Center waiver is slightly different than the Summer Camp Waiver. If you have any issues while completing the waiver, please contact the Outdoor Center at 478-445-5186).
