Camp Discovery at Lockerly Arboretum

OAKS CAMP - Ages 9-12

Rising 4th through 6th Graders

This full day, weeklong camp experience at Lockerly Arboretum in the Lake Sinclair area is filled with wild, nature activities for kids who love being outside!  Each session will have a different nature theme to get them learning and excited about the world around them. Daily activities range from indoor crafts and cooking to wild romps through the creek and forest of Lockerly.

Summer Broadway Intensive - Eatonton

Ages: 10th Graders - 25 Years Old

The Plaza Arts Center and The Arts Barn are working together to provide young adults in tenth grade through 25 years of age a chance to garner their skills ranging from acting, singing, set building and costume design all the way to the technical aspects of a show. Audition ARE required to participate.

Students will rehearse a production from start to finish for two weeks with Broadway-Veteran Henry Scott, culminating in a 2-weekend run of a complete musical. A virtual audition is required to participate. 

Rising 3rd-5th Grades

Unleash your child’s creativity at Youth Art Camp, a fun-filled week of hands-on projects and artistic exploration! Each day, campers will learn about different art techniques and history while creating unique masterpieces to take home by the end of the week.

Pinch Pot Creations 
Campers will dive into the history of pinch pots and learn how ancient cultures used them. They will then sculpt their own pinch pot using air-dry clay and then bring them to life with acrylic paint.  

Faux Stained Glass 
We will explore the beauty and history of stained glass, discovering why it has been used in art and architecture for centuries. Campers will then create their own faux stained-glass piece using acrylic glass and gallery glass paint.  

Tie-Dye Fun 
Time to get colorful! Campers will tie-dye their own T-shirts, which will be left to set overnight. While waiting, they will design a paper version of their tie-dyed creation to see if they can predict what the finished product will look like. 

Shrink Film Charms 
Campers will design small charms of their liking using clear shrink film and colorful sharpies. Once they have created their masterpiece, they will then finish them by watching them shrink into a miniature version in a tiny oven! 

This camp is a perfect blend of creativity, history, and hands-on fun! Your child will not only gain new age-appropriate artistic skills but also a deeper appreciation for different art forms. Join us for an exciting week of artistic adventure at Youth Art Camp!

Get ready for an unforgettable outdoor experience at Outdoor Adventure Camp! Designed for rising 6th through rising 8th graders, this action-packed camp is all about adventure, teamwork, and fun. Campers will challenge themselves through a variety of exciting activities, including:

Canoeing & Water Games
Explore the lake, paddle with friends, and enjoy fun-filled canoe challenges that test your skills and teamwork on the water.

Magic Camp - Greensboro

Ages: 7-12

This three-day camp is designed for kids ages 7-12 who want to learn the secrets of magic. Mark, a magician with over 30 years of experience, will teach sleight of hand, card tricks, and other fun illusions in an engaging, hands-on setting.

Dates: Tuesday – Thursday

Time: 9 AM – 12 PM

Finale: On Thursday at 11:30 AM, campers will showcase their new skills in a mini magic show for family and friends.

Participants will learn and work closely alongside a trained instructor and will perform in a show at the end of the week. New this summer: We have expanded our camp to include a wide range of age groups! We will offer a session for Rising 5th-8th Graders and a separate session for Rising 9th-12th Graders.

Drop-Off no earlier than 8:30 AM / Pick-Up no later than 3:15 PM

Art Camp - Eatonton

Rising 1st-5th graders

Ages 6-13

This fun camp is designed for developing young players, ages 6-13 who want to improve their basketball skills and learn the rules of the game. The morning sessions will involve learning skills for all levels of players while the afternoons are filled with actual games. Camp will include lunch. Pool time will be at Centennial Center every day of camp, weather permitting.

This camp is designed for boys, ages 5-12, of all skill levels who want to improve their game and have fun. Campers will practice hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running, as well as participate in games and competitions.
