We don’t know about you, but we are so excited about the upcoming 4th of July here at Lake Sinclair! We have put together a list of things to do on Lake Sinclair while celebrating our Independence.

HOW TO WATCH THE FIREWORKS
There will be several firework displays happening throughout the community to celebrate July 4th, especially with the holiday being on a Friday this year!

FIREWORKS BY LAND
City of Milledgeville
The City of Milledgeville presents the 4th of July Independence Day Firework Celebration on Friday, July 4th at just after dark on the campus of Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC). The parking lot at the campus will be closed off for the event. Suggested viewing areas for the fireworks include Walter B. Williams park and the parking lot of the Board of Education. Rock Eagle 4H Center
Each year, Rock Eagle hosts hundreds of 4-H campers over the seasons. One of the biggest camp sessions happens the week of July 4th, so a special firework show for the campers is always a highlight. You are welcome to enjoy the display from across the lake, but not near the campgrounds. Check back closer to the holiday for a confirmed date of the display!
FIREWORKS BY WATER
Many local residents and homeowners create their own firework shows for anyone to watch! Some of the most popular neighborhood viewing areas are Nancy Branch Cove, the Sinclair Dam, the Country Club areas and Crooked Creek. Get in your boat and you are bound to see multiple firework shows across Lake Sinclair!
