Music & Movement
Children ages 3–5 can sing, move, and explore rhythm during Music & Movement at the Eatonton-Putnam County Library. The lively program begins at 4 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Kids Free Fall Fishing
Kids Free Fall Fishing takes place on September 26 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Lockerly Arboretum in Milledgeville, GA. Children ages 16 and under can enjoy a fun day of fishing at the well-stocked pond with their parents. Bait is provided, including hot dogs, while families should bring their own rods, reels, tackle, stringer, or bucket. Each child may take home up to five fish.
Teen Advisory Board Meeting
Local teens can share their voices and help shape future programs during the Teen Advisory Board Meeting at the Eatonton-Putnam County Library. The meeting begins at 4:30 PM on Monday, September 28, 2026. Participants can offer ideas, discuss activities, provide feedback, and help the library better serve young people throughout the community. Joining the advisory board is also a valuable opportunity to practice leadership, communication, teamwork, and civic involvement while meeting other engaged teens. Homeschool / Co-Op Fieldtrip Day
Homeschool and co-op families are invited to attend Homeschool/Co-Op Fieldtrip Day on October 1, 2026, from 10 AM–12 PM at the Pumpkin Patch in Milledgeville, GA. The event will feature age-appropriate activity stations, hayrides, animal demonstrations, and photo opportunities.
Families can attend as a group or enjoy the day with their little learners. Admission is $5 per child, while adults are included and can participate in all activities and take home a mini pumpkin. Sample age groups and activities are available in the event photos. Families with questions are encouraged to reach out for more information.
