Central State Hospital Campus Trolley Tour

Since its founding in 1842, the Central State Hospital Campus has been one of Milledgeville’s most fascinating and historically significant landmarks. Led by a former hospital employee, this two-hour guided tour offers a deep dive into the institution’s complex history, its evolving role in patient care, and the ongoing redevelopment efforts shaping the future of the site. Highlights include visits to Cedar Lane Cemetery and the Chapel of All Faiths (when accessible), each stop offering a look into the campus’s past.
